Favourite food shops and wholesalers

Oasis Bakery Middle Eastern Products
Unit 9/993 North Rd, Murrumbeena, VIC
p: (03) 95701122

A Melbourne institution, a must-see not only for it's Middle Eastern groceries, but the fresh and tasty Middle Eastern takeaways, confectioneries, pastries and really good Turkish coffee

Kallista Biodynamic Market
75-77 Monbulk Rd, Kallista

My next-door neighbour. Known locally as 'Fred's' (but also ably run by his son Troy) it's where locals in the know get great organic fruit and vege as well as a good range of biodynamic groceries.

Mediterranean Wholesalers
482 Sydney Road, Brunswick
Phone: 9380 4777

Mediterranean groceries at good prices, but also great deli goods and European wines.
